Alienation
Many people feel alienated at our school. So we can relate to Melinda and her struggles throughout the story Speak. We all feel left out and if you are not excepted by an all important group we feel banished. Melinda is being shunned when no one even knows what really happened. That happens a lot these days people automatically believe everything bad but doubt the good. So at one time or another we have all felt like Melinda.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your blog and all of your posts! I am glad that young adults are conveying their world views with clarity and no fear; just as you did in your post about alienation and immigration. I know I have learned a great deal about how to express myself through blogging, and it has definitely been a learning experience at the University of South Alabama. If you are looking for a better experience in an academic setting then college will be much better!
